Our journey began in Moline, Illinois, when the credit union was established to serve the dedicated employees of Deere & Company in the Quad Cities area. With a mission to offer affordable loans to those who help feed our communities, this small but mighty financial cooperative grew impressively in just one year:

Over the decades, we have expanded our membership eligibility with a goal of benefiting more communities and partners with market-leading loan and deposit rates. We broadened our charter to serve the employees of other select employer groups and Deere dealerships throughout the country, and through a merger with Infinity Credit Union in 2022 we expanded into Maine. In 2024, we acquired TSB Bank, extending our footprint into Wisconsin.
Empeople is an award-winning credit union with branches located in Iowa, Illinois, Maine, and Wisconsin, and 23 Deere locations across the Midwest. Serving nearly 80,000 members nationwide with more than $2 billion in assets, we offer market-leading rates, a five-star digital banking app, and 24/7 assistance, so members can bank whenever they want from wherever they want in the country. We also offer members ongoing financial guidance to support them on their financial journey, whether they’re just starting out, navigating a big financial milestone, or preparing for retirement.
