To add your Empeople card to your Apple Wallet
- Open the Wallet app
- Tap the + button
- Select “Debit or Credit Card,” and follow the on-screen instructions to scan your card with the camera or enter details manually

- Open the Google Wallet app
- Tap “Add to Wallet” at the bottom
- Select “Payment card,” and then choose “New credit or debit card”
- Use the camera to scan your card or enter details manually

How do I activate my debit card?
Dial (866) 985-2273 to activate your debit card.
- Enter last 4 digits of Social Security number
- Enter CVV number on back of card
- Enter card expiration date
- Enter your 4-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number)

Are there currency conversion fees to use my Empeople debit card internationally?
Empeople does not charge a conversion fee to use your debit card outside of the United States.
Why is my debit card not working?
There are several reasons your card may be restricted:
- Suspicious transactions are unable to be verified by our fraud department
- Repeated invalid PIN entry
- Reaching maximum daily withdrawal limits

My debit card is expiring. When can I expect a new one?
The expiration date on your debit card means that it can be used until the last day of the month shown. A new card is ordered the month prior to expiration and takes 7-10 business days to arrive in the mail.
Can I change my debit card PIN?
Yes, please dial 866-985-2273 from the primary phone number listed on your account to change your debit card PIN.
- Enter your 16-digit card number
- Enter the last four digits of your Social Security number
- Enter your card’s three-digit CVV code
- Enter your card’s four-digit expiration date (mmyy)
- Select option 1 to change your PIN
