How much home can I afford?

How long does the mortgage loan process take?
From the time we receive your application to full approval of your mortgage loan, the process takes approximately three to four weeks. Closing times vary based on several factors including loan amount,property location and documentation completion.
Do I need to get a home appraisal to get a mortgage loan?
Appraisal requirements depend on the type of loan program you select. Many mortgage programs do require a full appraisal, but some allow for an appraisal waiver if the lender is able to validate the property value using alternative data sources (such as automated valuation models or prior appraisal data).
Federal guidelines require appraisal to be ordered by your mortgage lender. Buyer-purchased appraisals cannot be accepted for the underwriting of your loan.
