Account management
You can view your account numbers within digital banking.
Simply log in and select the account you would like to view. Your full account number is listed under the Details section.
If you are not a digital banking user, we would be happy to give this information to you after proper verification of identity. Please contact us at (800) 338-6739.
You may reorder checks by logging into digital banking and selecting the checking account you wish to order the checks for. Then selecting “Order checks.”
You can see 15 months of statements online at any time by simply logging into digital banking. To sign up, simply click the “eDocuments” link within digital banking.
Opening a share certificate is quick and simple:
1. Log into digital banking and click on your name in the lower left corner.
2. Choose ‘Add an account’ and follow the on-screen prompts.

Security & privacy
Fraud Alerts help you to manage your account activity and quickly identify potentially fraudulent transactions. When you provide us with your mobile number, we will automatically sign you up to receive automated alerts to your mobile device using text messaging and/or pre-recorded digital voice phone calls.
To dispute an unauthorized charge or report a lost or stolen debit card, call Empeople at (833) 852-0085.
To dispute a fraudulent charge on your Empeople Visa credit card, call Visa Card Services at (833) 254-6384.
To send a secure message to our member services team, log into digital banking and select “Messages” in the menu. Select “Start a conversation” to being drafting your secure message.
Card management
Dial (866) 985-2273 to activate your debit card.
- Enter last 4 digits of Social Security number
- Enter CVV number on back of card
- Enter card expiration date
- Enter your 4-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number)

You may activate your Visa credit card by calling the number listed on the sticker on the front of the card or by calling Visa Card Services at 1-800-631-3197, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To lock or unlock your Empeople debit card, you can use the Card Controls feature in digital banking:
- Go to Card Controls
- Click “Manage”
- Click “My Cards”
- Accept the Terms and Conditions
- In General Settings, use the toggle switch to lock or unlock your card
To replace a lost or stolen debit card, you can call (800) 338-6739 immediately or text (309) 743-1001.
If your debit card is expiring, we’ll automatically order a new card for you at the beginning of the month it expires. You should receive the new card within 7–10 business days.
If you visit an Empeople branch in person, they may be able to print a new debit card for you right away.
You can apply for a credit card limit increase within digital banking.
Once logged in, click on the “Apply for a loan tab” in the menu on the left side of the screen. Select the credit card type you have or want to change to and fill in the application like normal, entering the limit you want during the application process.

Payments & transfers
Simply log in to digital banking, select “Payments” in the menu, then “Bill Pay,” and follow the instructions to set up the bills you’d like to pay electronically.
